Bruce Barker
Sunday: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Height: 6’ 0”
Eyes: Brown
Birth date and place: March 11 - Enterprise, Oregon (beam me up, Scotty)
Family: Single, but I have a great collection of siblings, parents, nieces, nephews…
What were you doing before the FISH? Working in radio at
KKLA (Los Angeles, CA); KPLS (Orange, CA); Aahs World Radio (National); KCAQ (Ventura County, CA).
Pets: None. My old cars are my kids, not my pets.
If I had a different job, I'd be a: movie actor. Or maybe a welder on Monster Garage
The four guests at my fantasy dinner party would be: My mom, Abe Lincoln, Ronald Reagan (when he was president), Eddie Van Halen. I’d require Eddie to bring his guitar
My hobbies are : Working on ‘50s Fords, playing musical instruments, making old Macintosh computers get up and dance (which, given their already astounding capabilities, ain’t too tough)
Favorite Color: All of ‘em totally rock
Scents: The ocean, breakfast food, freshly-cut grass, leaded gasoline (am I dating myself?)
The last book I read was: The Daily Bible (well… I’m still not finished yet)
I wish I knew how to: surf, rollerskate, speak another language
My worst habit is: snacking late at night while working late at night. Okay, BOTH are bad habits
Nobody knows I: once worked at a fish processing plant. Eww!
I drive a: 1968 Mustang convertible. And occasionally a 1958 Ford Ranchero
My favorite restaurant is: it’s a toss-up between Little Toni’s and Mucho Mas, both in N. Hollywood
Movies: Terminator 2 and Bullitt. Two of the best car-chase scenes ever filmed
Actors / Actresses: On-camera: Mel Gibson, Sandra Bullock;
Voice actors: Billy West, Nancy Cartwright
TV Show: Stargate SG-1, Enterprise, Smallville, The Simpsons
Candy Bars: Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Nutrageous… SO good that I don’t dare go near them anymore
Music: the hits, nothing but the hits. Born & raised on Top-40 radio
The first album I bought was: an 8-Track of Chicago VI
The first concert I attended was: Huey Lewis & The News
My ideal vacation is: a long stretch of days at home
Board Games: Monopoly
Outdoor Activity: working on old cars, riding bikes at the beach, swimming (none of which I do NEARLY enough!)
Football Team: The Scottish Claymores (NFL-Europe; it’s a family connection thing)
Baseball Team: The Dodgers, more because of Vin Scully’s radio announcing than the actual team itself
I'm happiest when: the sun is shining and I’m out in it
I regret: not being better at balancing my work-time and my fun-time. Work tips the scales too often
If I won the lottery, the most extravagant thing I would do is: Visit the Pyramids at Giza. On a camel named Fido
If I could change one thing about the world, it would be: to educate everyone about how much better this world could really be. Knowledge is power
